Bill Madden writes socially conscious lyrics on his new album, and it has an appealing sound. "What is Ours" suggests an uprising of the common man, and has a very Lennon-esque melody to serve it just right. The title song is a heartfelt protest against the power of money, and Madden carries it off well. The tune is nice and the vocals passionate. "Mother" is a song about the environment, and how we destroy it. Madden's voice is softer and more pleading here. It's a powerful song.
"Deluge" closes the album with some dark and poignant recount of chaos. It's an epic song. It's a fabulous album all told.
